About this game

It is 3 a.m. at Pine Ridge Gas, a lonely station on a mountain road, and you are working the night shift alone. Something tall and thin lives in the pines. It walks the lot while you are not looking, presses its face to the windows and tests the door handles. It does not like the light.

Survive five nights until 6:00 AM, and each one is worse. Watch the four security cameras on the old CRT at the counter to see where it is. When a handle starts rattling, get to that door and hold your flashlight on it through the glass until it backs away. Your flashlight battery drains while it is on, so grab the glowing battery packs and switch it off when you can. Later nights bring sticking latches you have to lock again, power cuts that kill the cameras, and a visitor that stops caring whether you are watching.

Keyboard and mouse: WASD to move, mouse (click to capture) or arrow keys to look, F or Space or left click for the flashlight, E or right click to use, lock doors and take batteries, C or Tab for the cameras (left and right or 1-4 to switch), Shift to hurry, Esc or P to pause.

Touch: left stick to move, drag anywhere else to look. LIGHT toggles the flashlight, USE locks doors, takes batteries and opens the monitor, CAMS opens the cameras at the counter, and the top-right button pauses.

Gamepad: left stick to move, right stick to look, X for the flashlight, A to use, Y for the cameras.

Tense and creepy, never gory. Best with sound.
